5-in-1 Multi-Purpose 12VDC Power and Signal Tester

The 5-in-1 Multi-Purpose 12VDC Power and Signal Tester from SECOLARM allows you to check that you have a sufficient power connection between electronic components. Easy to read LEDs make identifying your connections a breeze. Four individually lit LEDs show the strength of the voltage present from excellent to poor, while two separate LEDs show the progress of the test you are performing. The included alligator clips make clamping to wires or fuses a simple task. As a safety feature, the alligator test leads are designed to be unequal in length, which helps prevent them from touching one another during testing. The tester can be used to check voltage with a simulated 1A or 500mA load without the need for a multimeter, the polarity of wires using the illuminate power connector, the amount of voltage loss in long cable run applications, and the integrity of PTC fuses. An ideal application for the tester would be while installing surveillance cameras; if there is insufficient voltage for a camera, it would risk damage to the camera and not allow for a good signal.
